WHAT CAN YOUR FURRY FRIEND EXPECT?
Your dog will be fed premium dog food, or if you've got a fussy eater, you can also choose to bring your own food along - no problem!
We have spacious and grassy tree filled areas for your pooch to frolic and we include outdoor time each day.
Our team make sure each and every guest is as snug as a bug in a rug! We
have comfy warm bedding for those cool evenings. And if it's
sweltering hot? We've got shell pools and misters to keep everyone cool.
We use self refilling bowls, so our dogs never run out of water. And on
hot days, we also run playgroup early in the morning before the heat of
the day sets in.
We can take care of any medication needs. Our
experienced staff will ensure any medicinal regime is taken care of for
your
peace-of-mind.
We understand that everybody has their own little quirks and special traits and we appreciate each pet’s individuality. If you have any concerns, just let us know what we can do to aid your pet in receiving the time and special care it deserves.
BOARDING REQUIREMENTS
At Bendigo Pet Retreat our vaccination requirements are
strictly adhered to at all times. This policy is for the health and
safety of all our boarders. We will not board ANY animal that has not
presented with a current vaccination certificate.
All updated vaccinations must be given 2 weeks before
boarding or the animal will not be admitted. To avoid disappointment,
please ensure your pet is fully vaccinated at least 14 days prior to
check in.
Puppies
All puppies need to be 20 weeks or 5 months of age before we can board them
You need to provide proof of age if your dog is under 12 months of age
Puppies need to have had at least two sets of vaccinations The last vaccination being a C5 this vaccination includes Distemper, Hepatitis, Parvovirus PLUS Kennel Cough
C5 vaccinations need to have been given at least 4 weeks prior to boarding
Dogs
All adult dogs must have a current C5 vaccination administered within the last 12 months
We must sight your vaccinations before your dog can be admitted into the kennel Vaccinations must be given at least 2 weeks prior to boarding, unless your dog is a puppy Vaccinations can be confusing so speak to your vet to make sure they are covered for boarding
C3 available in 12 months or 24 months or 36 month shots every vet is different
KC or BBPI is kennel cough and is given yearly
Flea & Worming
All dogs must be wormed and treated for fleas before arrival.
We can worm your dog for you $10.00 per 10 kilo body weight.
Collars & Leads
Your dog must arrive with a correctly fitted collar.
A lead that is in good condition - Correction chains are not accepted
If your dog arrives without a collar or lead you will need to purchase these before we can admit your dog. This policy is for health and safety reasons
Extra Charges
Medication Charge - $3.00 daily / Peak Times Only Feeding Own Food - $3.00 daily
Peak Times Only Twice a day feeding (dogs over 12 months) - $6.00 / Extra Love - $10.00 for 1/2 an hour
1 on 1 time Puppy Playgroup (all ages) - $6.00 ½ hour socializing under supervision with suitable matched dogs
